Dean Monoxelos

Dean “Dino” Monoxelos has been a bass player since the age of 13. 

 From Armenian Salsa to full blown Heavy Metal, he is at home in any style. He credits this to his love of all types of music but his true love is for R&B and Funk.
He has backed up players like Bernard Purdie, Efrain Toro, Maria Martinez, Doane Perry, Steve Perry, Brett Garsed, T.J. Helmrich, Debbie Johnson, Tiffany, Chasity Bono, Greg Bissonette, Keith Wyatt, The John Leite Concert Winds, The Pepperdine University Orchestra, and The Black Sea Salsa Band to name just a few. He is also one half of the acoustic variety act “Carl & Dean”.
 

He is the author of three books so far, Odd Meter Bassics (Hal Leonard), Essential Styles for Bass (Mel Bay) and his own self-published series, Mastering the Fingerboard (Monotunes Music) Odd Meter Bassics and Essential Styles for Bass
